Paul’s enthusiasm for photographing wildlife was evident in his talk on Wednesday, as were some stunning images. As well as the usual kind of photos we see of birds and which Paul had many excellent examples, he also described his interest in Minimalist images showing many of these too. He used his GoPro to take close up images of birds at their nests as well as his 100mm macro lens, lying close to the edge of a stretch of water, as much of the birdlife on Svalbard was very approachable.
